A writer, director, and producer with a degree in marketing and cinema from Emerson College. With Las Lloronas (The Weeping Woman), which she co-wrote, produced, and was a part of the Guadalajara Film Festival's official selection, she made her directorial debut in 2004. In 2019, in Rome, Italy, she became the first female filmmaker from Mexico to get recognition from the ANAC (Associazione Nazionale Autori Cinematografici de Italia).
