A British actress, born in Pontypool, South Wales, United Kingdom. She began acting after a short stint with music performance, where she was a clarinetist in the National Youth Orchestra of Wales. She studied at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and then began her acting career. Her most important works include Theater Night (1957), Barnaby Rudge (1960), Hamlet (1961), The Edgar Wallace Mystery Theater (1959), A Man Called Harry Brent (1965), and The Reptile (1966).
