An American actress, born into a family of artists in the United States and raised in Orange County, California. Her father, Gerald Ishibashi, is a concert promoter, her mother, Lisa Ishibashi, is a singer, and her grandmother, Mary Nomura, was a singer known as the Manzanar Songbird. She majored in theater at the University of California, Los Angeles. Her artistic works include the series This Is Us (2016), the film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows (2016), and the film Runaways (2017).
