A Welsh-British actress, writer, and singer, born in the coastal town of Aberystwyth in Wales. She began her career in theater and dancing during the early 1980s. She trained at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and worked for years with the North Dyfed Dance Project in West Wales. She moved to Bath in 1990 and joined the improv comedy company More Fool Us with Rob Brydon, Ruth Jones, and Julia Davis. She began her writing collaboration with Julia Davis, creating a two-woman comedy show called Sisters of Percy. She continued her writing partnership with Julia, contributing to the series Nighty Night. She has appeared in several comedy series, such as Hunderby (2012), Sally4Ever (2018), and Intelligence (2020).
