American actor born in Baltimore, Maryland, on June 4, 1895. Hicks was married two times and had 5 children. His career includes over 300 credits, varying between films and TV series. He also appeared in several Broadway plays. He's known for The Blue Bird (1940), The Little Foxes (1941) and The Three Musketeers (1939). He died of a heart attack following an accident, at age 61.
