An American actress born in San Francisco, California, on November 30, 1883. She has been married twice and had no children. She began her career on Broadway in 1912, then moved to silent films, with Alimony in 1917. She's known for It's a Gift (1934), Tugboat Annie Sails Again (1940), Larceny on the Air (1937) and Beware of Ladies (1936). Josephine died in 1961, at age 77.
