He was a Saudi singer and composer born in 1945 in Al-Ahsa, Saudi Arabia. He performed folk songs professionally. He was known as "the Eastern Boy," and his fame spread in Kuwait, Iraq, and the rest of the Arab Gulf countries. His career spanned 25 years, during which he released 400 cassette tapes and 200 CDs. He participated in the play Abu Akarish (1975). He died suddenly in Dammam on February 20, 1983, due to a drop in blood circulation.
