An American actress, born in Detroit, Michigan. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in media and acting. Following her graduation with honors, she relocated to New York and made her Broadway debut in the Tony Award-nominated drama "Airline Highway." Her first role was in the film Snow Cake. She later appeared in Whip It! (2009).
