Cathleen Nisbett was a British actress born in Birkenhead, Cheshire, on November 24, 1888, and died in London, England,on August 2, 1982. In 1972, Cathleen Nisbett won the Emmy Award for Drama and the same award for Actress of the Year. She is best known for her roles in Separate Tables (1958), The Parent Trap (1961), The ABC Afternoon Playbreak (1973) and Family Plot (1976). Cathleen attended Queen's University in Belfast, and her first theatrical appearance was in 1910 at the Royalty Theater in London. The following year, she made her Broadway debut in a Shakespearean theatrical tour, and her first cinematic appearance was in the British silent film A Star Over Night (1919).
