An American dancer and actress, born in Los Angeles, USA. She studied at Miss Page's School for Girls and won a beauty contest in 1929. She made her Broadway debut in New York in 1931, then worked as a dancer in Paris and London before returning to New York. She participated in many works, including the movies College Cuties (1930), Rumba (1935), Road to Zanzibar (1941), Roxie Hart (1942), and The Woman in the Window (1944).
