A documentary filmmaker, born in the USA. He was the son of actor and producer Robert Redford. He has directed and produced documentaries that address a range of issues, such as the environment and education. He wrote the screenplay for the film Cowboy Up (2001). He, with his father (Robert), founded the company The Redford Center in 2005 for artistic production. Among his films are The Big Picture: Rethinking Dyslexia (2012) and Wartime (2013).
