BTS is a South Korean boy band that was formed in 2010 and debuted in 2013. They co-write and co-produce much of their material. The band was formed by Big Hit Entertainment. BTS made history on November 24, 2020, as the first K-pop group to be nominated for a Grammy Award, namely for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. Moreover, in 2019, BTS became only the third band in 50 years — after The Beatles and The Monkees — to have three number-one albums on the Billboard 200 in less than 12 months. Their works include BTS: Dynamite (2020) and BTS: Butter (2021).
