One of the few Saudi filmmakers who entered the world of cinema and directing through academic education, as he holds a master's degree in filmmaking from New York University. He is proficient in film directing, writing short and feature films, producing, content creation, editing, and cinematography. He has shot many short films, commercials, and documentaries in Los Angeles at Universal and Warner Bros. studios, under the supervision of professional filmmakers such as William Dickerson, James Rowe, Tyrone D. Dixon, and others. He has worked on most of the cameras and cinematic equipment, and despite the drought that the Saudi cinema scene is suffering from, he has won several awards at local and international film festivals. His film Retribution was nominated for the Carthage International Festival Award in Tunisia in 2016, and it is the first Saudi film to enter the festival since its founding in 1966. He also produced and directed the film Bunuwirah in 2020.
