Alex Gerry was born in Manhattan, New York on October 6, 1904. Alex married actress Toni Gerry and their marriage ended in a divorce without children. He began his acting career in 1948, after which he appeared in numerous films and TV series till 1977. He's known for Love Is Better Than Ever (1952), The Bellboy (1960), Funny Face (1957), and Back Street (1961). He died in 1993, at age 89.
