American actress, born on December 2, 1968, in Los Angeles, born to an Orthodox rabbi and professor of psychology. She moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania when her parents got divorced. She was discovered at the age of 15 by a talent agent in New York and started modeling before turning to acting. She is known for Keeping the Faith (2000), General Hospital (1993-1997), and Traffic (2000). She won a Daytime Emmy Award in 1995 for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for General Hospital (1963).
