British film and television actress, born on 20 October 1934, in Durban, South Africa. After being nominated for a BAFTA Film Award for Most Promising Newcomer to Film for Room at the Top (1958) in 1959, she went on to appear in numerous British films and television series for over 25 years. She is known for Cutthroat Island (1995), Room at the Top (1958), and Scrooge (1970).
