English actress, born on April 7, 1982, in London. She is the daughter of an executive assistant and her father works in the local council. She grew up in the Ealing area of London. She participated in the Youth Theater. She worked for three years as a writing consultant before she got accepted at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She received a BA in acting from RADA in 2006. She is known for Fleabag (2016), Life After Life (2022), and Quiz (2020).
