Drue Leyton was an American actress born in Somers, Wisconsin, on June 12, 1903. She married actor Jacques Terrance (1938-1941) and remained with him until his death. Her acting debut was in Change of Heart (1934). She's known for Blackmailer (1936), Charlie Chan in London (1934) and Alibi for Murder (1936). She escaped from a concentration camp, after she was arrested by the Nazis for broadcasting from Paris for the 'Voice of America'. She later joined the French Resistance. Drue died in California in 1997, at age 94.
