An American actress born on November 26, 1929 in in Hawthorne, California. Betta married British opera singer Peter Grant (1952-1992), had three children, and remained with him until his death. She began her career at a young age where she appeared on stage in Broadway's "Carousel" in 1945. She's known for The City of the Dead (1960), Dream Wife (1953), Armchair Theater (1959), and Dangerous Mission (1954). She moved away from cinema, and devoted herself to working on television till she retired in 1965.
