An American film and stage actress, born in Tampa, Florida, United States. She became famous for the silent film The Last Command (1928), directed by Josef von Sternberg and starring Emil Jannings, who won the first Academy Award for Best Actor, in addition to working in vaudeville shows. Her credits include The Silver Horde, Underworld, and Framed. She died of a heart attack on June 4, 1975.
