Scottish actress and director, born on February 16, 1984, in Scotland, United Kingdom. She studied at the Glasgow School of Art and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and graduated in 2011. In 2011, she was nominated for the Johnny Walker Great Scot Award for Outstanding Contribution to Entertainment. In 2012, she was selected as one of the 12 Rising Stars of 2012 by Radio Times. She is known for Mr. D (2013), Shetland (2014), and Tonight You're Mine (2011).
