A German actress, born in Bavaria, Germany. She moved with her family to England in the late 1930s, then moved to the United States, where she obtained American citizenship. She studied at the Leland Powers School in Boston, and in 1945 she presented the play “The Rugged Path” by Robert E. Sherwood at the Washington National Theater, and she also performed in American cinema.
