An American actor, he was born in Los Angeles, California on June 18, 1917. Richard Boone was nominated for a Golden Globe, a Golden Laurel, and Primetime Emmy Awards and won the Western Heritage Award in 1973. He began his career on Broadway, after which he made his screen debut in Halls of Montezuma (1951). Richard was married 3 times and had one child. He's known for Have Gun-Will Travel (1957-1963), Vicki (1953), Hombre (1967), and The Richard Boone Show (1963-1964). He died of throat cancer in 1981, at age 64.
