An American film and television actor, born in Los Angeles, California, USA, into an artistic family. He had his own radio program. He formed a singing group with his siblings called The Crosby Boys. He joined Stanford University, but he was professionally hindered by alcohol abuse, which had plagued him since adolescence. He has had three marriages, all of which ended in divorce. His notable works include A Private's Affair (1959), Girl Happy (1965) and Hunter (1984-1985). He died of lung cancer in Burbank, California, USA, on August 24, 1995.
