He was an American director, born on October 6, 1934 in Los Angeles, California, USA. He directed many TV series and feature films. Among his well-known works are The Black Hole (1979), Washington: Behind Closed Doors (1977), Early Edition (1997-2000), and Get Smart (1966-1969). He received a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing in a Drama Series for Washington: Behind Closed Doors (1977). He died on May 25, 2022, in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
