Edith Barrett was an American actress born in Roxbury, Massachusetts, on January 19, 1907. Edith married actor Vincent Price and they had a child before their divorce. She had a successful career on the stage which spanned over 25 years. She's known for Jane Eyre (1943), Ruthless (1948), Ladies in Retirement (1941) and I Walked with a Zombie (1943). Edith died of a heart attack in a nursing home in 1977, at age 70.
