Irish singer, songwriter, musician, and actress, born on May 17, 1974, in Dundalk, Ireland. Her parents were musicians, who strongly encouraged each of their children to pursue music. She is the youngest of four siblings. Her father taught her to play the piano. Throughout her teenage years, she took part in school plays at her school. She started her artistic career in 1991. She is known for The Commitments (1991), The Boys & Girl from County Clare (2003), and Evita (1996).
