Gloria Roy was an American actress born in San Jose, California, on August 17, 1901. Her screen debut was in the silent film No Mother to Guide Her (1923), after which she appeared in many films till 1940, including Hot Pepper (1933), The Holy Terror (1937), and Charlie Chan's Secret (1936). She died in 1985, at age 84.
