An Iranian actress and director, born on March 21, 1965 in Abadan, Iran. She graduated in Artistic Painting from Khazar University in Azerbaijan. She started in theater in 1986, then switched to cinema with the film The Cyclist (1987), directed by Mohsen Makhmalbaf. Her credits include The Future World (2001) and Weeds (2001).
