American actor born in Red Oak, Iowa, on July 7, 1887. Hatton received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1960 for his film career. He married actress Frances Hatton (1909-1971), who remained with him until her death. He began his film career from 1909, with around 500 acting credits till 1967. He's known for The Kansas Terrors (1939), Below the Border (1942) and The Three Musketeers (1933). Hutton died of a heart attack five days after the death of his wife, at age 84.
