She made her film debut in Ganga Maiyya Tohe Piyari Chadhaibo (1962), after which she decided to return home and complete her studies....Read more She then returned to acting and played the role of a dancer in Johny Mera Naam (1970), then appeared in Saudagar (1973) with Amitabh Bachchan, and Noorie (1979), and played the role of a queen in the serial Ramayan (1987–88).
