An Indian film actress and classical dancer, born into a Kannada family in Bangalore, Karnataka, and her mother is a musicologist. She made her acting debut in 2000 in the Malayalam film Arayannangalude Veedu, starring Mammootty, for which she won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Supporting Actress. Her notable works include Oru Indian Pranayakatha (2013), The Voiding Soul (2014), Allama (2017), Bheeshma (2020), and The Judgement (2024).
