An American singer, writer, and actress, born in Long Island, New York, USA, to a Puerto Rican father, and a mother of Italian and Jewish descent. From an early age, she was encouraged to pursue a career in entertainment, and she frequently appeared on Sesame Street at the age of 4. Her breakthrough was in 2004. She is known for Jersey Girl (2004), Empire (2015-2016), and Blue Bloods (2016).
