A Canadian actress, writer, director and film educator, born on August 21, 1968 in Bratislava, Slovakia. She immigrated to Canada in the 1970s with her parents. She got her start in show business in advertising for Bell Canada with Megan Follows. She holds an MFA from York University and has been a full-time faculty member in the Department of Film and Media Arts since 2019 as an Assistant Professor. Her credits include Only (2008), Modra (2010) and Godsend (2004).
