Romanian actor, born on March 9, 1942, in Bucharest, Romania. He graduated from the Institute of Theatrical Arts and Cinematography in 1964. In 1964, he made his debut in the film Comoara din Vadul Vechi. He was married to the actress Micaela Caracas and they had three children, Stefan, Andrei, and Matei. In 2005, he was the general director of the National Theatre in Bucharest. He performed at the I. L. Caragiale" National Theater in Bucharest. In 2017, he was named an Officer of the Order of the British Empire. He is known for Charlie Countryman (2013), Mission: Impossible (1996), and Jute City (1991). He died on September 5, 2021, in Bucharest, Romania.
