An American actress and model, born in New York, United States. She graduated from the Bronx High School of Science. She also obtained a bachelor's degree in interior design and architecture from Northwestern University and began presenting fashion shows, becoming the first woman of African descent to appear on the cover of Glamour magazine. She is also a fashion designer. Her credits include Simon & Simon and Frank’s Place.
