He is a French-born Argentine actor, born on May 5, 1956, in Paris, France. He debuted in Novia de vacaciones (1979). He is known for The Motorcycle Diaries (2004), Un amor de Borges (2000), and Empty Nest (2008). He won the "Best Actor" award at the Biarritz International Festival of Latin American Cinema for his role in Un amor de Borges (2000).
