A German actress, born in Leipzig, Germany. She studied at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin. Her first appearance in cinema was in 1998 when she played the role of Maria in the film Das Mambospiel, directed by Michael Gwisdek. Then her real breakthrough came in 2000 with the film Vergiss Amerika, followed by the short film Die Nachtschwester in the same year, and the following year she presented the film Leo and Claire. She also won the Best Actress Award at the 59th Berlin International Film Festival after participating in the film Perspektive Deutsches Kino in 2009. She also won several international awards due to her cinematic credits.
