A British TV presenter and actress, born on December 20, 1936 in the United Kingdom. She attended Stand Grammar School. She trained as a nurse at Manchester Royal Infirmary, having started her television career as a comedian on the 1956 TV show Bid for Fame. Her credits include The Avengers (1961) and Carry on Cleo (1964).
