An American actress, born on September 27, 1925 in New York City, USA. She studied under Lee Strasberg and appeared in many notable works during the 1950s. She received an Obie Award in 1958 for her role in the off-Broadway play Time of the Cuckoo. She made her film debut in Edge of the City (1957) and worked in soap operas. Her credits include Flipper (1963), The Borgia Stick (1967) and The Concorde... Airport '79 (1979). She died on August 9, 1989 in New York City, of esophageal cancer.
