An Italian actor born in Gragnano, Campania, Italy. He married Italian actress Grazia Narciso. He is best known for his supporting roles playing stereotypical Italian characters, in film and television. Before his film career, he was a theater actor who toured the United States. He has played dozens of roles of Italian barbers, pizza makers, grocers, and waiters. Among his notable credits are 20 Million Miles to Earth (1957), The Bishop’s Wife (1947) and The Killing (1956). He died of cancer in Los Angeles, California, USA, at age 69.
