An English actress, born on February 27, 1936 in Shepherd's Bush. After the outbreak of World War II, young Virginia and her family were evacuated to South Africa. She eventually returned to London and entered Abbey School as she was interested in acting. She attended drama school and finally got into business with television parts. From her works: The Buccaneers in 1957, The Adventures of Robin Hood, The Bride in 1958 and The Man Upstairs in 1958. On a bitterly cold day on January 24, 1968, Virginia took a massive overdose of antidepressants and died in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.
