A British Actress was born in Midsummer, on 3 June 1942. She is an English actress, singer and visual artist, who graduated from the Drama School in Hampshire, but made her name as a singer. Since 1961, she has appeared in many television shows, most of them as an actress and sometimes as a singer, as in the series Hope And Keen 1965-1966, and she trained in belly dancing to present it in the movie Follow that Camel 1967. She played a role in Witch Witty, for which she won a TV award Times for Best Entertainer. She was nominated in 1980 for a Primetime Emmy Award and in 1967 was nominated for an NME Award. In 1973, she married the director, writer, and producer Mike Margolis. She has performed in numerous plays at London's West End Theatre, has also been a recurring star in pantomime, and has appeared in many commercials.
