A British Actor born in Chelsea, London, on July 7, 1919. He got married twice and had two children. His major works include: Carry On Cleo (1964), Doctor Who (1970-1984), A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (1966) and Carry On Cowboy (1965). He died of a heart attack while on vacation with his wife in a Connecticut hotel at the age of 76.
