An American actress, born on February 3, 1965 in Los Angeles, California to actress Abby Dalton and businessman Jack Smith. She is of Swedish, Irish and Welsh descent. She started acting in commercials as a child and then briefly moved on to modeling before she began to pursue acting in film and television as a teen. She's known for Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988), That Thing You Do! (1996) and Bride of Re-Animator (1990).
