An Indian actress, who has appeared in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu films. She played the female lead role in films between 1974 and 1986. She then began to be known for her roles as a mother from the 1990s. Her work includes Nizhal Nijamakirathu (1978), Brahma (2014) and Valimai (2022).
