An Indian actress, who has appeared mainly in Kannada films, as well as Tamil and Malayalam films. She studied in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Her mother is a Sri Lankan Tamil who moved to India and her father is from Nagercoil. She acted in nearly 40 films in her career. She made her film debut in Nagamandala. She acted in the Tamil films Friends and returned to the Tamil film industry again with the comedy film Boss Engira Bhaskaran, one of 2010's biggest hits.
