An American actress, born in Goin, Tennessee, USA, as Doris Dee Stiner. She married actor and writer Don Gordon (1959-1979), and they adopted a daughter. She began her career in the mid-1940s as a beachwear model, and after 10 years, she worked as a singer and dancer in the Copacabana nightclub in New York. She finally appeared on the screen from 1956 to 1970, and most of her appearances were on television. She studied at Lincoln High School in Canton, Ohio. She won a number of local beauty contests, and worked in television commercials before working in cinema. Her notable works include Bell Book and Candle (1958), Burke’s Law (1963) and Mike Hammer (1958). She died in Watsonville, California, USA, on March 28, 2015 at the age of 88.
