An American actress, born in New York, USA. Her mother was a pianist and classical music teacher, and she wanted to become an opera singer. She auditioned for the Hanna-Barbera Cartoons, Inc. and was finally chosen to voice the character Smurfette in the 1981 film The Smurfs.
