A Mexican actress, born in Mexico City, Mexico, to a family of Jewish immigrants. Rosa studied English and drama at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, and quickly found work on the stage. She also appeared in two American films shot in Mexico, Guns for San Sebastian (1968) and Two Mules for Sister Sara (1970). She also translated plays from English into Spanish and directed theatrical productions. She died on October 29, 1999, in Mexico City, Mexico, of a heart attack.
